In 2016 the car underwent extensive mechanical recommissioning by XJ220 experts Don Law Sport, who subsequently have looked after the car throughout its UK life. It went on to win the Pirelli Prestige and Performance Competition for rival supercars from the 80's and 90's at the prestigious Salon Prive concourse, held at Blenheim Palace in 2016. It was also featured in Classic and Sportscar Magazine where it was driven by then Jaguar chief development engineer Alastair Mcqueen, who commented on how well it drove, standing the test of time.
