Description: THE BIKE SPECIALISTS, TRADING STANDARD AWARD WINNERS. Bike ID: #10544 Here we offer the unique opportunity to purchase the iconic 916SPS Foggy rep. Our example is special by virtue of the fact that it is a UK, 2 owner bike that has covered just 2,559 miles with its last owner having owned the bike since 2002. The bikes headstock shows the number 174 of just 202 built solely for the UK market and is the ultimate blue chip investment Ducati. This stunning example benefits from being supplied with a paddock stand, the all important boxed commemorative plaque, the "Foggy" key ring, 2 keys, full book pack with the hand book and service book as well as the original purchase order form and the standard exhaust. The bike has remained sat within a collection most of its life so we will complete a full recommissioning service including engine bellts prior to sale and also supply a fresh MOT. Capitalising on Carl Fogarty's World Superbike Championship successes, Ducati introduced the limited edition 916SPS 'Fogarty Replica' in 1998. Only 202 were made, number '002' being reserved for the great man himself while '001' was retained for Ducati's museum in Bologna. Like the standard 916SPS on which it was based, the 'Foggy Rep' used the 996cc motor boasting a new cylinder head design, Termignoni exhaust system, titanium con-rods and numerous other revisions to give a claimed 134bhp along with a close-ratio gearbox, improved Brembo front brake callipers and a unique carbon-fibre exhaust shield. We are a family-owned company who pride ourselves on the quality of our Motorcycles and all of them are carefully chosen, handpicked enthusiast pre-owned examples that are always HPI Clear for your peace of mind. We offer all the usual Motorcycle Dealer facilities such as Low-rate finance and extended warranties and operate a no pressure environment where you can relax and enjoy good old-fashioned service with a smile. We have just upgraded our Indoor Showroom where you can see Motorcycles you sometimes can only dream of seeing and sometimes, we have to pinch ourselves when we get certain bikes in as we would like to keep them all! We cater for very specialist tastes and can source rare and coveted bikes that we do not have in stock and have lots of contacts throughout the world.
