Description: A genuine factory manual 1968 Dodge Charger R/T, powered by its 440 cubic-inch V8 and originally finished in Yellow over a Black vinyl interior. Delivered in January 1968, the car spent its early life in California, Washington and New York before being imported into the UK in 2018. While in the United States, it underwent an extensive rotisserie restoration, with the body stripped to bare metal and refinished in its original factory Yellow. Purchased by its current owner in 2022, the Charger has since been professionally covered in satin black PPF by Topaz Detailing, preserving the restored Yellow paintwork beneath. The 440 V8 has been upgraded with Edelbrock aluminium cylinder heads and intake manifold, Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection, Crane camshaft, Hedman headers, MSD electronic ignition and a Flowmaster exhaust. Power is transmitted through a Tremec five-speed manual gearbox to an 8.75-inch Sure Grip rear axle. Further upgrades include fast-ratio steering and front disc brakes. The restored Black vinyl interior features a refurbished dashboard, new headlining, Tick-Tock tachometer, RetroSound Bluetooth audio and additional instrumentation.
